Tap Takeover: Bells

Thursday, Oct 12 All Day

The Ale House
6480 Dobbin Center Way
Columbia, MD

Bells – Two Hearted

IPA defined by its intense hop aroma and malt balance. Hopped exclusively with the Centennial hop varietal from the Pacific Northwest, massive additions in the kettle and again in the fermenter lend their characteristic grapefruit and pine resin aromas. 7%

Bells – Oarsmen

Oarsmen (Session) Ale The grain bill includes a healthy portion of wheat, while citrusy hops lend bright notes to the aroma. Fermented with Bell’s house ale yeast. 4%

Bells – Cherry Stout

Stout Cherry Stout gains its signature tartness from 100% Montmorency cherries grown in Michigan’s Traverse City region.

Warm, dark chocolate notes from the malt bill. Lightly hopped for balance, this stout is one of the cornerstones of their stout portfolio. 7%

Bells – Roundhouse

IRA Heady blend of fruity aromas of pineapple, peach and citrus. Those aromas continue into a crisply bitter hop presence across the tongue, but the judicious use of toasted and caramel specialty malts prevents the hop intensity from overwhelming the palate. Locally sourced Michigan honey creates a smooth, dry finish that pulls everything together. 7.5%

Bells – Expedition Stout

Russian Imperial Stout Immensely complex flavors crafted specifically with aging in mind. A huge malt body is matched with a heady blend of chocolate, dark fruit and other aromas. The flavors will slowly meld and grow in depth as the beer ages in your cellar. 10.5%

Bells – Octoberfest

Octoberfest Crafted as a flavorful session beer and perfect for autumn, Octoberfest spends a full six weeks fermenting.

With herbal hop aromas, this balanced amber lager focuses on lightly toasted malt that lends body without too much sweetness. 5.5%
